The night was crazy, we feed pizza to 245 and there were several who chose not to eat so our guestimate is 275 junior high students. It was crazy, crazy, crazy...Bob MacRaewas our speaker, Papa John's was our pizza provider, and it was crazy. I don't know why students love MI, it is basically a game of hide and seek. We hide one leader and all the students try to hind him or her. That is basically it. Anyway, we had a ton of first time commitments and now we need to do some follow up. We usually try to connect in a few ways but this week we will send out a letter letting the students know about our programs and offer a $50 discount for our next retreat. What a crazy, exciting night...
Every year we hold 2 events called Mission Impossible and we see about 180 to 240 junior high students come (MI1 in September & MI2 in May). Here is a promo video we showed last night to get the kids pumped. If you are a junior higher...SEE YOU TOMORROW, FRIDAY MAY 18th...8-11...FREE PIZZA & CARBONATED BEVERAGES...
I was watching Survivor and the prize for one of the challenges was a Ford Super Duty. LOL...Super Duty. That makes me giggle...
